1969 Mercedes-Benz 220D, 4spd manual
Bought at 15 years old, repaired with help from Dad and loved... until I blew the engine when the clutch was slipping up a hill and I sustained too-high rpms for too long.
1967 Mercedes-Benz 250S
Bought at 17, daily drove for most of 2003-2013. Gave it electronic ignition and removed a muffler (still semi-quiet), otherwise stock. Sat in the desert for 8 years while I went overseas, now being restored.
1984 Chevrolet Corvette, 4spd manual (+elec. OD)
Bought at 19, it had a Flowmaster exhaust and sounded incredible. Had a lot of fun in this one until transmission problems I simply couldn't handle without a garage in WA state.
1984 Mercedes-Benz 190D
This car was bought by my dad when I was 2, the family daily until he gifted it to me as a wedding present. Became my off-and-on daily until 2022, now being restored. 400K+ miles, still starts and runs great every time.
1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce, 5spd manual
The single most fun car I have ever driven, sold only because it was either this or the 911 below and the 911 was simply a better all-around car. My upgrades included a stage 2 clutch, lightweight flywheel, electronic ignition, equal-length ceramic-coated header, sport springs with Bilstein shocks, 145 lbs of weight reduction, and sport seats. All work done myself.
2000 Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 6spd manual
Got a DEAL on this due to rear end damage, fixed it, and have loved it as a daily much of the past 12 years. She sat in the desert for 3 years while I was overseas and needs a lot now, but is finally getting the repairs one at a time.
2006 BMW K1200S
Alternated with the Porsche as my daily in San Diego for most of a year, then unfortunately suffered a transmission failure which would have cost as much as I paid for the bike to fix.
2013 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R
I wanted something that would launch as hard as I ever wanted from whatever speed, so after much research this was the clear choice. She gets a lot of photo time, you'll see her occasionally in model shoots. Tuned to 205 hp at the wheel.
1972 Fiat 500L, 5spd manual
Fantastically tiny and fun! Originally 17bhp and 4spd, she's about 23-45bhp now (original engine VS sport engine, I've swapped a few times), and I installed a 5th gear into the 4spd box it came with. Search "Fiat 500 Restomod Series" to find it on YouTube.
The Rest
1995 Mercedes-Benz C280
1982 Kawasaki KZ 440 LTD
1986 Kawasaki ZG-1000 Concours
2002 Suzuki GSX-R 600
2006 Mercedes-Benz E320 CDI
2010 Mercedes-Benz GL 320 Bluetec
2001 Seat Leon 20VT, 5spd manual
The Spanish version of a VW Golf GTI- same power, 300 lbs lighter. It was a FWD rocket, great when the turbo worked... often didn't thanks to cheap plastic vacuum components.
